NYPD: Man Steals Cell Phone From 11-Year-Old Girl In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are trying to find a man who they said robbed an 11-year-old girl in the Bronx.

It happened just before 4 p.m. back on Oct. 8.

The girl was on Davidson Avenue when police said a man walked up to her from behind, forcibly removed a cell phone from her hand and then fled on West 180th Street towards Grand Avenue.

The girl was not hurt.

Police said the suspect was seen on surveillance video. They describe him as a 25-year-old Hispanic man, about 5'8" tall, 150 pounds and bald with a wrinkled complexion. He was wearing jeans and a blue hoodie.
