Police: Boy, 2, Found Safe After Being Taken By Mom In The Bronx
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 2-year-old boy was found safe Sunday afternoon, after his non-custodial mother allegedly took him in the Bronx, police said.
Police told 1010 WINS the boy was abducted by his mother, who lost custody of him to his grandmother.
Around 1:30 p.m., the mother showed up at the grandmother's residence, in an apartment building at 2320 Bronx Park East, and took the child, police said.
The boy was found safe with his mother early Sunday evening, and the mother was taken into custody, police said.
