Bring It On! LA Mayor Promises 'Doozy' Of A Bet With De Blasio
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- What can be bigger than total bagel supremacy?
We're about to find out -- hopefully. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti is looking to make "a doozy" of a bet with his counterpart in the Big Apple ahead of the Rangers-Kings Stanley Cup Final.
But be warned: it took New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio three full days to seal the deal on his previous wager with Montreal's Denis Coderre. The Rangers were up 1-0 on the Canadiens in the Eastern Conference finals by the time de Blasio even responded via Twitter.

"Rahm Emanuel is already in my wake," Garcetti said Monday, referring to last round's bet with the Chicago mayor, according to CBS LA. "I'm coming after you, Bill."
Garcetti won some Chicago-area beer and popcorn after the Kings ousted the Blackhawks in seven games. Meanwhile, the Rangers' run to the finals means New York -- thanks to de Blasio -- gets to hold the title of best bagels over Montreal.
"It's going to be a doozy," Garcetti said. "Stay tuned for the bet — the big bet."
Game 1 is Wednesday night in Los Angeles.
