Gunman Opens Fire At Car Full Of People Outside Bridgeport Courthouse; 4 Injured
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (CBSNewYork) - There was chaos outside a courtroom in Connecticut Monday after a gunman opened fire on a car full of people.
It happed on Golden Hill Street in Bridgeport at around 12:15 p.m. today.
Police say four people were in the car. Three were wounded before running for cover inside Bridgeport Superior Courthouse.
The driver was also shot.
All four people were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.
Investigators say it appears the victims were targeted.
So far, there's no word of any arrests.
Connecticut State Police say they will send troopers to the Bridgeport area to prevent any possible retribution.
