Best Places To Throw A Bridal Shower In NYC

Step inside Mediterranean restaurant Pergola and you'll immediately feel like you're in a serene garden within the city. This bi-level restaurant is the perfect spot for a bridal shower with its enchanting décor, private lounge rooms, and enticing menu. As a way to pay homage to the flower shop the restaurant once was, the owner has incorporated beautiful live plants and floral arrangements to make the airy and open space even more inviting. Nosh on traditional dishes and small plates from Greece, Turkey, and across the Middle East courtesy of Chef Nestor Moina. Share a plate of hummus and Tzatziki, Salads, and kabobs or try the Pergola Lamb Burger (with roasted tomato, feta cheese, arugula, lemon, and garlic). Did we mention there's also a hookah menu with 12 flavors to choose from? And don't forget to try one of their signature cocktails like the Jalisco Rose (Reposado Tequila shaken with amber agave, apples, rosemary, and lime juice) or Lavender-Lime Collins (gin with lime juice, Luxardo maraschino and lavender-violet liqueur topped with soda and a mint bushel of thyme). It's easy to celebrate at this place.

The Ainsworth is a great place to throw a wedding shower for a large group. This 6,000 square foot space feels intimate since it's both rustic and sophisticated thanks to its dark wooden interior and rustic chandeliers. The menu doesn't disappoint either. Customer favorites include the Short Rib Grilled Cheese as well as brunch items like Eggs Benedict (served on a buttermilk biscuit) or the Brioche French Toast Sticks. Stick around after your event and grab a drink at the bar. There's always a game on TV to keep you occupied and who can say no to one of their fun cocktails like the Mr. Moore (Bulleit bourbon, honey-ginger syrup, blackberry) or The Ains Martini (Absolut Citron, aperol, grapefruit, and lemon). Have a true New York moment by making a brunch reservation at The Chester inside The Gansevoort Hotel. This fun eatery is located in the middle of the Meatpacking District, making a perfect people watching spot. Rent out their upstairs study (seats up to 50) with a private bar area and cheers to the bride. There is also The Garden room, which seats up to 75 people and features a private bar and separate entrance. Get the party started with a glass of Soco Sangria or Espresso Martini and pair it with the Salmon Benedict or Banana Pancakes. Their homemade granola and The White Omelet are also great healthy options. Make a weekend out of it and stay at the hotel for a girl's weekend to remember.

Enjoy a private brunch at ISA in Brooklyn. Rent out their second floor space, which includes dedicated staff, audio-visual capabilities, and private beer and wine service. There's also a beautiful rooftop garden and fireplace, making it a perfectly charming place to throw a shower. Nibble on Mediterranean cuisine and decadent brunch items like the Breakfast Pizza made with egg fontina, pancetta, and salsa verde, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, or Pork Milanese Sandwich with arugula and spicy aioli. The James Beard award winning design and handmade woodwork within the restaurant are the perfect complement to the delicious menu.

Head down to the Lower East Side and enjoy a bridal brunch at Beauty & Essex. Start off your meal with a fun cocktail like the Beauty Elixir (Oxley gin, cucumber, strawberry, sparkling rose) or an Emerald Gimlet (Grey Goose vodka, basil, lemon nectar, and fresh lime) and enjoy your surroundings. If you throw the party on Sunday, make sure to check out their Champagne Brunch happening upstairs starting at 1 p.m. Take in the beautiful décor, especially the large chandelier that hangs in the center of the restaurant. Order up some Vanilla Beignets or Red Velvet Waffles before moving onto something more substantial like the Brunch Pizzeta (homemade green chorizo, potatoes, manchego, quail eggs), Lobster & Chorizo Hash, or Mac & Cheese.
