WATCH: Yankees' GM, Yogi Berra's Granddaughter Rappel Down Building

STAMFORD, Conn. (CBSNewYork/AP) — The general manager of the New York Yankees and Yogi Berra's granddaughter rappelled down the side of a Connecticut high-rise in what has become an annual holiday tradition.

A spotlight shone on Brian Cashman and Lindsay Berra as they traveled down the 22-story Landmark Square building in Stamford just after sundown on Sunday.

Berra, a writer for MLB.com, donned a Mrs. Claus outfit, and Cashman dressed in a costume as "Cash the elf."

The rappelling stunt has been done as part of Stamford's Heights and Lights tree-lighting ceremony for 19 years, according to The Stamford Advocate. This was Cashman's sixth time participating and Berra's first.

The two did a practice run on Friday.
