LISTEN: Brian Billick Discusses Success Of First-Year Starting QBs
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Playing quarterback in the NFL is not supposed to come so easily so quickly, right?
First-year starting quarterbacks have begun the season on a roll. Carson Wentz, Trevor Siemian, Dak Prescott, Jimmy Garoppolo and Jacoby Brissett have combined to go 11-1 so far.
On Wednesday, WFAN's Mike Francesa asked NFL Network analyst Brian Billick about the early success of those players.
"It's impressive, to say the very least," the Super Bowl-winning coach said. "The thing that strikes me about these young quarterbacks is how calm they are, particularly when you're talking about a Carson Wentz or a Dak Prescott. They just don't seem overwhelmed by the situation, which is a good thing.
"Being with a good team certainly makes a difference."
