Judge To Rule Next Week In Harlem Shopping Cart Toss
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - On Thursday, family court judge Susan Larabee adjourned the case one last time in the tossing of a shopping cart from a Harlem mall.

She'll make a ruling next week and is expected to release Giovanni R. from detention and order his placement in a therapeutic foster home.
The plan is that he would go to school and get counseling and supervision and be back out in the community, but not in his old neighborhood.
His mother said she is doing her part in learning how to handle her son's behavioral problems once he comes home.
"So I be able to, you know, understand more about him than I understood before, but I'm glad, you know, that he getting help," she said Thursday.
On Oct. 30, prosecutors say the boys, who were both 12 at the time, pushed a shopping cart off the fourth-floor walkway of an East Harlem parking garage.
It landed on 47-year-old Marion Hedges. Her husband, Michael Hedges, said his wife will require months of rehabilitation due to neurological damage.
Charged as juveniles, the boys could get up to 18 months in a juvenile facility with the sentence extended annually until they are 18-years-old.
