Boy Hospitalized After Being Hit By Bus In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An 11-year-old boy was struck and injured by a Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus in Brooklyn Sunday afternoon.
The boy was riding a bicycle was hit by the bus around 5:15 p.m., at Crescent and Weldon streets in the Cypress Hills section of Brooklyn, FDNY Emergency Medical Services officials said.
The boy was taken to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in an unspecified condition, officials said.
The boy was expected to survive his injuries.
There was no word Sunday evening if charges or citations would be filed against the driver.
