Boston Marathon Bombings: Important Information
BOSTON (CBSNewYork) -- Authorities in Boston have issued some important information following the bombings Monday that left at least three people dead and 144 injured at the Boston Marathon:
• Boston Police have asked witnesses to contact them with any details, at (800) 494-TIPS;
• The Mayor's hotline to find family members is at (617) 635-4500;
• The FBI Boston Division also has set up a hotline, at (800) CALL-FBI, for anyone with information, visual images, or other details about the bombings. The FBI emphasized that no piece of information or detail is too small;
• Anyone who wants to get in touch with family and friends is asked to register with the Red Cross;
• Google has setup a "Person Finder" service, enabling people to locate missing people, or to report information about someone who may be missing or injured.
