Despite being without Tyson Chandler (sick) and J.R. Smith (benched), the Knicks managed to beat LeBron James and the Miami Heat Thursday night at the transformed MSG by a score of 102-92.

Boomer and Craig got this Friday thing going with some Knicks talk, covering both the action on the floor as well as the life and times of JR Smith, as the reigning Sixth Man of the Year was benched by head coach Mike Woodson.
Moving right along to the NFL, as the divisional round action kicks off Saturday. Locally, neither the Giants nor Jets qualified for the postseason, but Big Blue did make the news cycle after their owner John Mara contradicted his head coach Tom Coughlin with regards to recently 'retired' offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride's departure from the team.
