Just a day after the sports talk landscape was dominated by NFL wild ward weekend -- which was littered with injuries and marred by a controversial non-call -- Tuesday morning Boomer and Craig focused their collective attention on the New York Knicks, this after team president Phil Jackson "woke up from his slumber" and began purging the roster of his 5-32 squad.
Boomer has been calling for a culture change with regards to the Knicks for a long time, so he was thrilled to see J.R. Smith go and hopes Jackson isn't done.
Meanwhile, Booms' radio partner (and BFF) Craigie is close to blowing a gasket, reiterating what he said a few weeks back about Jackson, he is not fit for the job.
Today's show open actually spilled over into the second segment - usually reserved for Jerry Recco to deliver an update - and featured of lot of Boomer playing the role of nurturer, as Craig donned the hat of frustrated fan that has had enough.
