Les Gold has been a pawn broker for the majority of his life, opening up his his own shop, 'American Jewelery and Loan' in Detroit, way back in 1978.
Since then Gold's business has grown significantly and these days he can be seen running it on the truTV's reality television hit, 'Hardcore Pawn.'
