Jerry Recco got his Tuesday morning update started with the scoop from the Giants, as Eli Manning sounds like he is fired up for their Monday night matchup in Detroit against the Lions. Craig piggy backed on Eli's enthusiasm and imagined out loud what a pregame speech from the Giants quarterback would sound like.
We also heard from Tom Coughlin, who has grown tired of answering questions about ailing rookie wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.'s health status, and Victor Cruz, who has tabbed Week 1 as a must-win for Big Blue.
Plus, the Jets cut Dimitri Patterson, as well as Stephen Hill, while former Jet Santonio Holmes is looking good for the Bears, which makes Craig angry.
Jerry provided some other notes from around the NFL, including the news that Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has been cleared to play in the Pats' opener in Miami, the Yanks open up a nine-game homestand against the Red Sox and the Mets latest collapse -- an error filled loss to the Marlins -- has Boomer thinking David Wright is not someone the Mets will ever win with - how 'bout that?!?!
