After being tantalized by the promise of an upcoming surprise guest and listening to Al Dukes do his best to smooth things over after letting the cat out of the bag, Jerry Recco got after it, and by that I mean he delivered an update.

It began with a preview of tonight's "Snoopy Bowl" at MetLife Stadium between the Giants and the Jets, along with some other news and notes from around the NFL.  Then it was on to the Yanks, who managed to avoid a sweep at the hands of the Astros thanks to a complete-game shutout courtesy of Brandon McCarthy (pictured).

After hearing McCarthy's postgame spot with the one and the only Suzyn Waldman -- in the segment we've come to know as "OK John" -- Craig offered some advice to athletes with regards to answering idiotic questions from the media.

Plus, the Giants take a day off of practice to visit the 9/11 Memorial Museum and Al Dukes is forced to issue an apology...
