Boomer & Carton: Helmet-To-Helmet Hits; Yankees One Step Closer To Offseason

Craig thought that there was a new rule instated in the NFL that does not allow running backs to put their heads down.

There was a clear helmet-to-helmet hit Thursday that stemmed from Chiefs Jamaal Charles lowering his head while rushing with ball. Boomer tried to explain how it was legal, however these new rules are causing lower hits on the legs, which players aren't fans of either.

Jerry's first update of the morning started with another Yankees loss in September. Joba brought in to a close game did what he does best and gave up a huge 3-run home run. When asked why he went to Joba, Girardi basically said he has no other options. Boomer, Carton and Jerry get into a debate whether or not Joe Girardi should be taking the blame for putting Joba into another important situation when he continues to fail.

At this point the consensus is that Yankee fans would prefer seeing a young kid put into one of these games and fail, rather than Joba.
