Boomer & Carton: Clutch Win — That's Called Yankee Baseball
The Yankees used a four-run eighth inning to top the Blue Jays Wednesday night in Toronto by a score of 4-3.
Some might call it just the kind of win to help propel a magical run to the playoffs. Craig is one such individual, saying that we are all lucky to have the Yankees in our lives. With the win the Yanks are just 2.5 games out of the final wild card spot in the AL, so Craig's confidence is not completely unfounded.
As for Boomer, he does not share his radio partner's enthusiasm with regards to the Yanks, going as far as to minimize Craig's 'little engine that could' metaphor. So the two butted heads a bit while getting things started this Thursday morning.
