Thursday marked the third day of Chris Simms filling in for Boomer.
Phil's oldest son and Craig got things started by discussing the comments made by Cam Newton. The Panthers' signal-caller claimed that him being "an African American quarterback might scare some people." Newton also went on to describe himself as "incomparable."
When Craig and Chris were through talking about that, the conversation shifted to the baseball diamond, as the Mets made it official with Yoenis Cespedes. Terry Collins, it appears, has already filled out his lineup card for opening day.
All of that, plus news that Kristaps Porzingis and the Knicks may have the services of Carmelo Anthony when they take on the Raptors on Wednesday night in Toronto.
