Boomer could do nothing but scratch his head Thursday morning after, for the second straight game, Henrick Lundqvist allowed six goals to the Lightning. And because of that, the Rangers find themselves trailing Tampa Bay 2-1 in their best-of-seven series.
Craig did his best to raise the spirits of his radio partner/BFF, but Boomer was really down in the dumps, so it wasn't an easy task.
Making matters worse, both the Yankees and the Mets were on the losing end of things, a combination that knocked the Metsies right out of first place. How 'bout that?!
So it was a sullen, but entertaining show open -- and there you have it...
