Boomer and Craig began Tuesday's radio program the only way they really could -- by discussing the latest scuttlebutt from the ongoing saga that is the life of Alex Rodriguez, a man once believed destined for the Baseball Hall of Fame who is now facing a 162-game suspension.
A-Rod and his legal team are not taking the reduced time-out laying down though, nope, far from it, as they turn to federal court with the hopes of having a judge overturn the arbitrator's decision. In addition to suing Major League Baseball, Alex is also suing the MLB Players Association, alleging they failed to deliver on their duties.
Because of the lawsuit, all the details of the arbitration ruling have now been made public -- oh boy.
Oh, the tangled web the once revered A-Rod has weaved for himself - actually, to say it's tangled would be a bit of an understatement. In this business, though, tangled is good because it tends to create talking points.
