The body was discovered around 9:30 a.m. Monday near Iona Island just south the bridge and appears to have been in the water for several days, police said.
It was found just a few miles from Cold Spring where the manhunt for him was under way.
Kim was the suspected gunman in a deadly business shooting on Long Island last week.
Police said 63-year-old Kim walked into a lighting fixture company in East Garden City last Wednesday morning and opened fire.
The chief executive officer of the company, John Choi, was critically wounded in the shooting, police said. A second employee, Zachariah Yong Jae Shin, was killed.
Investigators said Kim disappeared after the shooting. His sport-utility vehicle was later found abandoned near Cold Spring -- 10 miles upstream and on the other side of the Hudson.
Nassau County Police Chief Steven Skrynecki said Kim once worked as a vendor for the company and said the motive "appears to be a work-related."
