Bobby Brown Feels 'Completely Numb' After Death Of Daughter

ATLANTA (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Bobby Brown says that he feels "completely numb'' after the death of his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown.

Bobby Brown said in the statement Monday that 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina "was and is an angel."

"My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable," he said. "We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl."

Bobbi Kristina died Sunday at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Ga., about six months after she was found, face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her suburban Atlanta townhome on Jan. 31.

A police report described it as a drowning.

Bobbi Kristina was born in Livingston, New Jersey and was the only child of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office says an autopsy will be needed to evaluate what led to the death of Bobbi Kristina. The medical examiner said additional lab testing might take several weeks.
