Bloomberg: HOV Restrictions Lifted, Monday's Commute Will Still Be 'Slower Than Normal'
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- You will not need three people in your car if you're traveling into New York City on Monday.
In a press conference Sunday afternoon, Mayor Bloomberg announced that the carpooling regulations put in place after Superstorm Sandy will not go back into effect this week.
The carpool restrictions were lifted Friday at 5 p.m..

The mandate required vehicles entering Manhattan by the four East River bridges and the Lincoln Tunnel carry three or more passengers between 6 a.m. and midnight. The same mandate applied to the RFK Triborough Bridge and Henry Hudson Bridge.
Even so, the mayor said folks should understand that Monday morning's commute will likely be slower than normal, especially since not all subway lines are operating.
Alternate Side Parking regulations are suspended citywide on Monday Nov 5.
