Blake Shelton's 'The Voice' Scores Four Emmy Nominations
On July 19, comedian Jimmy Kimmel and actress Kerry Washington came together to announce the nominations for the The 64th Annual Emmy Awards and The Voice nabbed four of the coveted nominations.
The reality singing competition brings four eclectic judges together to find the ultimate voice and country superstar Blake Shelton is one of those lucky four. Along with his apparent bromance with Adam Levine, here's something else to celebrate in The Voice camp: they're up for Best Competition Reality Show.
The Voice is the only singing competition to be nominated in that category and joins alongside The Amazing Race, Dancing With The Stars, Project Runway, So You Think You Can Dance and Top Chef. Three other categories include Outstanding Art Direction for Variety or Nonfiction Programming, Outstanding Hairstyling for a Multi-Camera Series or Special, and Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media Enhancement to a Television Program or Series.
The 64th Annual Emmy Awards will air September 23 on ABC with host Jimmy Kimmel.
