Bill Clinton To Stump On Staten Island For US Rep.
NEW YORK (AP) -- Former President Bill Clinton will bring some party power to the Democrat trying to hold onto his congressional seat in Staten Island.
Clinton will campaign Friday for first-term Democratic Rep. Michael McMahon.
The event is a rally at a college on the island.
The race for the seat has drawn a number of high-profile boosters. One Republican candidate, Michael Grimm, has been endorsed by Sarah Palin, John McCain and Rudy Giuliani.
The district includes Staten Island and parts of Brooklyn.
