Every year in the Piedmont region of Italy, the white truffle of Alba is celebrated at the Alba White Truffle Festival. Now, Urbani Truffles, the world's leading purveyor of truffles, and Prunotto, one of the oldest wineries in Piedmont, are teaming up to bring this exciting festival to NYC. From November 5 through the 12, restaurants across the city will showcase this delicious little morsel in their exclusive menus. These dishes will also be paired with the wines from Piedmont, including Barolos and Barbarescos. Who's on the list? Ai Fiori, Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House, Rosemary's, Saison, and many more. Click here to see the entire list of participating restaurants.

Fans of the white truffle will be happy to know that Chef Joey Campanaro will be incorporating this seasonal favorite into his dishes over at The Little Owl in the West Village. Guests can actually add white truffles as a supplement to anything on the menu! One of his personal favorites is definitely the Risotto Blanco – organic egg yolk, Parmesan, and truffle. Of course, shavings of this delicious fungus also pairs well with his Golden Cod with red cabbage, butternut and sweet-spicy pepitas, Lobster Soup with poblana chiles, and Crispy Chicken with brussel sprout home fries, lemon, sherry, and Dijon. The Sliced LI Duck & Almonds also comes with a lovely blueberry-truffle vinaigrette. Is your mouth watering yet?

You're in luck, because now through Dec. 21, Locanda Verde is celebrating Trufflepalooza. They have created a limited menu, highlighting white truffles from Alba, Italy. This year you can choose from their Chestnut Crespelle, with ricotta and porcini mushrooms, their Hand-cut Tajarin with sugo d'arrosto and Parmigiano-Reggiano "rossa," or their Roasted and Brasied Veal with guanciale and spaetzel. The dishes are on the pricier side, but they're definitely worth the treat.
