Executive Chef Alex Urena over at Tasca Chino is creating a kiddie treat that's definitely adult approved. Dive into their Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake ($10) and savor every bite because it's a combination of flavors that you probably wouldn't normally put together. This decadent dessert is made up of slices of peanut butter and chocolate cake along with a refreshing celery ice cream. We can count that as one of our vegetable servings for the day, right?

The Peanut Butter Fluff milkshake at Black Tap is the mecca of all peanut butter milkshakes. Heck, it might just be the mecca of all milkshakes. This enormous treat is not only creamy and delicious but the rim is coated with peanut butter while the drink itself is layered with peanut butter fluff and marshmallows. It's epic. If you're not in the mood for the extra sugary marshmallow you can always get one of their classic Peanut Butter shakes, too. Either way, you can't go wrong.

Stop into Schmackary's in Brooklyn and enjoy several peanut butter cookies like The Peanut Butter Cup – think of your favorite piece of candy in cookie form – loaded with semi-sweet chocolate, roasted peanuts, and peanut butter. You can also satisfy your sweet tooth with The Peanut Butter Patty. It's laoded with peanuts, peanut butter, peanut butter chips, and chocolate frosting. Finally, as an ode to Elvis, they've baked up The Graceland. This little number is made with bacon, peanut butter, banana, and semi-sweet chocolate. You'll be singing tunes all the way home after eating one of these tasty creations.

Try their Peanut Butter Pie ($6.95), made with three simple ingredients: peanut butter, heavy cream, and light brown sugar. This creamy pie filling is wrapped in a graham cracker crust and every bite is fluffy and rich. You may not want to share it.

There's no better place to celebrate National Peanut Butter Day than at Peanut Butter & Company in the West Village. Whether you want to stock up on jars of peanut butter (White Chocolate Wonderful and The Bee's Knees are two of our faves) or splurge on a Wafflewich Sunday (two toaster waffles with peanut butter, ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce). And of course there's always the sandwiches! From sweet to savory, there's definitely something for everyone to enjoy. Ask about their PB&J of the week or try something new like their The Heat Is On Sandwich – spicy peanut butter and chilled grilled chicken with a little bit of pineapple jam. Pretty much come in here if you're craving anything peanut butter related.
