NYC's Best Hotel Brunch Menus

As many New Yorkers already know, some of the best brunches are served inside the city's iconic hotels. Here are five that you must try. By Carly Petrone.

Measure Lounge, located inside the beautiful Langham Place, is now offering a brunch menu that includes specialty bottle cocktails and carafes as well as made-to-measure mimosas. The best deal is to order their prix-fixe brunch, which include your choice of starter, an entrée, and a brunch cocktail.

Even if you're not staying at The Greenwich Hotel, you need to check out the brunch at Locanda Verde. Chef Andrew Carmellini is whipping up everything from fresh Lemon Ricotta Pancakes (with blueberries and lemon curd) to a variety of fresh pastries including Orange-Glazed Hazelnut Doughnuts or a Sausage and Pecorino Scone. Clean out your system with one of their freshly cold-pressed juices. The Verde -- spinach, Tuscan kale, cucumber, celery, and apple – is a way to get in most of your vegetables for the day; while the Campagnola – with carrot, ginger, lemon and cayenne – has a bit of a kick to it. But if you're in the mood for a cocktail, definitely try the Bloody Mary Della Casa with Italian hot peppers and mortadella. It pairs great with the soft-scrambled Farm Egg Crostino with leeks, mushrooms, and speck or Zucchini Frittata with roasted tomato, onion, goat cheese, and basil. Brunch is served from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on the weekend.

If you're looking for a more low key brunch but still want enjoy the surroundings of an iconic New York hotel, then make your way to the Bull & Bear inside the Waldorf Astoria. Enjoy a buffet filled with all the trimmings including a made-to-order egg station, brioche French toast, custom cut thick bacon, cheese blintzes, house-made pastries, and fresh parfaits. Gluten-free breads and muffins are also available. Another plus? You don't have to wait until the weekend to enjoy it. Seatings are available from 7 a.m. – 11 a.m. everyday.

The newly opened Eventi hotel offers an impressive brunch at L'Amico, led by owner nad renowned Chef Laurent Tourondel. Start out your meal with a traditional cocktail – their Bloody Mary comes with spiced infused vodka, tomato, citrus, cider vinegar, and horseradish – while their Mimosa is quite festive thanks to the addition of Pierre Ferrand Curaco. But if you're in the mood for something refreshing, definitely try the Non Classico Spritz – contratto, vodka, grapefruit, St. Germain, and Prosecco. They also offer a variety of cold pressed juices that range from carrot, beet, ginger, orange, and pineapple to apple, ginger, lemon, and cayenne. Soak up all that alcohol with filling options like Wood Oven Baked Eggs with spicy soppressata, tomato, and eggplant caponata or Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with blueberries and whipped lemon curd. You can also dig into a freshly made savory pie. The Fennel Sausage & Eggs with tomato, white mushroom, and buffalo mozzarella is certainly a standout. Happy dining!

You may already be familiar with The Roof at The Viceroy Central Park is pretty spectacular but so is the brunch at Kingside, the hotel's restaurant led by Chef Marc Murphy. There are plenty of small plates to share including Lobster Toast with mustard seed and tarragon & fennel, Mussels and Fries, and the Kingside Charcuteir Plate with mustard and pickles. But if you're really hungry (or trying to outsmart a hangover) then definitely order the Breakfast Pizza. This pie comes with baked eggs, maple bacon, aged cheddar, and scallion. One of their Cast Iron Skillets will also do the trick. Choose two fillings from a list of ingredients that includes everything from blistered long hots and smoked ham to roasted wild mushrooms and tomato confit. Pair your meal with a classic cocktail like a French 75 (Brooklyn gin, fresh lemon, and Prosecco) or a Moscow Mule. The Bottled Kingside Gin & Tonic is another fun option, made with Hendricks gin, housemade allspice, lavender, and lemongrass tonic. Definitely head up to The Roof to take in the view before you leave. Weekend brunch is between 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
