Brighten your day during your lunch break and relax at Bryant Park while listening to some Latin-American music and pop-swing by David Fernandez. Fernandez will be playing from Monday through Friday, so if you miss the concert due to a busy meeting, you can catch the show any other day of the work week. The concert will be held on the Upper Terrace in the park, right behind the New York Public Library. David Fernandez - Latin American Music and Pop-Swing is presented by Bryant Park Corporation, Sam Ash Music Stores, and Local 802 of the American Federation of Musicians.

On Sept. 26, the Global Citizen Festival featuring Ed Sheeran, Beyonce, Pearl Jam and Coldplay will take place on the Great Lawn in Central Park. The free concert will coincide with the launch of the United Nations' New Global Goals (aimed to end poverty by 2030), so while most tickets are free, concert-goers needed to take "action" to earn their tickets. Taking "action" meant signing meaningful petitions, contacting elected officials and world leaders through letters or phone calls about world issues, and much more.
