Wolf & Deer is just a few blocks down Park Slope's bustling Fifth Avenue from Barclays. The small spot features a striking U-shaped bar, 70+ wines and a solid happy hour. Weekdays from 5 to 8 p.m., you'll fine $6 select wines by the glass, $4 draft beers and $9 cocktails. Though Wolf & Deer's food menu is limited, the cheese and charcuterie plates are thoughtfully curated.

Set up in an old auto shop, Park Slope's Mission Dolores offers craft beers in a unique space. From a long courtyard out front to a glassed-in indoor space, the bar offers plenty of room. The 20 draft beers on tap rotate often, as does the cask ale. Mondays through Fridays until 7 p.m., the reasonably priced draft beers are an additional $1 off. To seal the deal, Mission Dolores has classic board games, a pinball machine and arcade games on hand.

The front is more suited for two, while the back has room for groups.
