Police Investigate Threat Against Bergenfield Schools

BERGENFIELD, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Bergenfield public schools were placed on lockdown Tuesday morning after a man made a verbal threat, police said.

Some parents could be seen arriving at school, but were turned away, CBS2 reported.

All students are safe and the lockdown has since been lifted.

The investigation is ongoing.
