Ben & Jerry's To Honor '30 Rock' Finale With New Ice Cream Flavor
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Tina Fey is the latest comic to be honored with a Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavor.
Her award-winning comedy 30 Rock signs off for the last time on Thursday and the ice cream company will be giving the show a sweet send-off by unveiling a new addition to their line.
Spokesman Sean Greenwood told 1010 WINS why they chose to honor the show.

"Tina Fey is a comedic genius, the staff, the crew, they put on a really funny show -- just classic," said Greenwood. "That tickled our fancy, it's our type of humor."
No word yet on what the ice cream will taste like -- but since Fey's character is named Liz Lemon, there's speculation there might be a tangy tint in the mix.
The ingredients will be unveiled at a special event Thursday night at Latitude bar and lounge at 30 Rock.
Greenwood said the company will also be bringing back a popular flavor from the Ben & Jerry's graveyard sometime in 2013-- but no word yet on what it will be.
"It's gotta be one of the top five flavors we've retired," he said. "If you look at the list, I bet you can pull a top five and this is going to be one of those."
The "30 Rock" is the second Ben & Jerry's-themed ice cream to involve Alec Baldwin, who plays Jack Donaghy on the show. The company released a flavor called "Schweddy Balls" last year in an homage to Baldwin's Saturday Night Live skit.
Other comedians who have received the honor are Stephen Colbert (Americone Dream) and Jimmy Fallon (Jimmy Fallon's Late Night Snack).
