Police: Man Threw Block Of Ice At Woman, Hit Her In Head, In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police released two photos Tuesday of a suspect who allegedly threw a block of ice at a woman, and struck her in the head, outside a Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn subway station.
Around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, the suspect was on the street when he allegedly hit the 28-year-old woman with a block of ice while she was walking up the stairs to the Utica Avenue A and C train station, police said.
The suspect had picked up the ice from the street, police said.
The woman was taken to a hospital, where she was treated for a concussion, police said.
The suspect was described as a black male standing 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and weighing about 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black sweat shirt with a picture on the chest, and black sneakers.
