Sources: Man Sought In Attack On Girlfriend In Bedford-Stuyvesant
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Tuesday were searching for a man who is accused of beating his live-in girlfriend inside a Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn home, sources told CBS2.
Just after 1 a.m. Tuesday in a home near Bedford and Jefferson avenues, the 38-year-old woman was hit in the head by a man after a quarrel, police said.
The suspect ran off, and the victim was rushed to New York Methodist Hospital in critical, but stable, condition, police said.
Police were searching Tuesday night for Josh Luteran, 30, who stands 5 feet 10 inches and was last seen wearing a black skull cap, jacket and black sweatpants.
Sources told CBS2 Luteran is a former semi-professional boxer, and is accused of hitting his live-in girlfriend with his fist, according to sources and published reports.
