Bear Caught After Running Up Tree In Ramapo
RAMAPO, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) - Police were called after a black bear was spotted wandering around Ramapo Tuesday.
Officers from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation were able to catch up with the 1-year-old, 170 pound bear after it decided to climb a tree in someone's backyard.
They safely tranquilized the animal and released it in a remote area.
