B&C Morning Show: Jim Riggleman Explains His Abrubt Resignation From Nationals
Jim Riggleman shocked the baseball world (and the Washington Nationals organization specifically) by announcing his resignation following his now former team's 1-0 win over the Mariners, the surging Nats' 11th win in their last 12 games.
This morning Riggleman called in to discuss his decision, which was based on principle more than anything. Riggleman talked about how he came to the difficult decision, the realization that he may never land another big league managerial position, his feelings toward Nationals GM Mike Rizzo and what he has planned for the immediate future.
Craig admired Riggleman's choice and he told him so before wishing him luck with his uncertain future...
