B&C Morning Show: Yanks Struggles Continue, Boomer Predicts It Will Only Get Worse
The Yankees lost two of three to the Red Sox in the Bronx over the weekend after dropping the rubber game 3-2 in 10 innings last night. Overall the Bombers have lost 7 of their last 10 and Boomer doesn't see it getting any better for Joe Girardi's bunch, reiterating what he has been saying for a couple of weeks now, that the Yankees are in some trouble.
Craig was quick to point to the Yankees 7.5 game lead over the Rays and the Orioles in the AL East - the Yanks will welcome in the Orioles tonight for a three game set - and did his best to fend off his Blonde buddy's negativity, still being confident that they have nothing at all to worry about.
It wasn't all negative from Boomer though, as he proudly talked about the wonderful time he had at his nephew Randy's wedding Saturday night, where he ran into Mr. Met.
From there the guys discussed the Summer Olympic games, as Craig tried to figure out why he should be watching the action from London. Also, some nonsense from Jets camp as Darrell Revis comes up with a lame hamstring (as Craig predicted he would) and a muscular Tim Tebow is captured frolicking shirtless in the rain...
