B&C Morning Show: Yankees Swept Away In The Bronx; LeBron's 'Shrinkage'
LeBron James spoke before Game 5 of the NBA Finals and with the Series tied at 2-2, the self-anointed "King" declared last night's game in Dallas as a "now or never" game.
With that said, the Mavericks will be taking their talents to South Beach with two chances to close out the hated Heat, as LeBron once again performed a "shrinkage act" in the 4th quarter and Dirk and the Mavs prevailed with a 112-103 victory. Game 6 is Sunday night.
If you stayed up to watch the end NBA Finals, then you were awake to see the first pitch of the Red Sox-Yankees game in the Bronx, which didn't get underway until 10:44 p.m., which according to Craig, was a shrewd attempt by the Yankees to get CC Sabathia a start against the Red Sox. Well their plan did not work, because the Red Sox got to CC for 6 runs and completed the sweep at the Stadium with a 8-3 victory led in part by David Ortiz, whom Craige declared his love for.
So the sweep at the hands of the of the Red Sox, combined with the news that Joba Chamberlain is likely done for the season, had Craig declaring the "sky is falling" in Yankee land...
