B&C Morning Show: Yankees Keep Rollin', Mets Stumble, McIlroy Arrives
The Yankees made their way to the friendly confines of Wrigley Field over the weekend and took 2 of 3 from the Cubs, so Craig had a little pep in his step this morning, having stayed up to watch last night's 10-4 win behind CC Sabathia.
Boomer on the other hand, he described the weekend as disappointing taking into account that the Mets lost 2 of 3 to the Angels at Citi Field and are now 2 games below the .500 mark, as well as Rory McIlroy's record-breaking, "ho-hum" victory at the U.S. Open.
So while Craig called for a sustained winning streak from the "Not So Amazin" Mets and toyed with the idea of banning the Blonde Bomber's old teammate Cris Collinsworth from the show, Boomer predicted numerous Major victories from McIlroy and talked about sipping some Bushmills as the Dynamic Radio Duo did their thing on this Monday edition of the "Morning Extravaganza"...
