B&C Morning Show: Wow, Wow, Wow! Giants Deserving Of Super Praise
Eli Manning and the New York Football Giants completed another magical run last night in Indianapolis when they defeated the New England Patriots by the score of 21-17, to win Super Bowl XLVI. Now let the celebration begin.
Boomer & Craig made it back from Indianapolis safe and sound - the Booms at about 5 a.m. this morning after calling the game on the 'Dial Global Radio Network' - and the Dynamic Radio Duo took their seats in the Allstate Studio shortly after 6 a.m., ready to hurl well-deserved praise the way of Big Blue after their triumph over the Pats.
Craig called the Giants organization as a whole as good as any franchise in the history of the sport, while Boomer described last night's action as 'breathtaking' at times, marveling at the player Eli Manning has become.
The guys were in agreement that with the win, Eli all but assured himself of a place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and is worthy of all the praise sure to some his way. They also documented the Giants unlikely run to the top of the football world.
The Booms was also sure to mention Craig's claim back in October that he would resign his position as his 'little radio buddy' if the Giants were to win the Super Bowl. Craig informed Boomer that he was still working on his letter of resignation, but had not yet handed it in. Stay tuned...
