B&C Morning Show: Takin' It To The Limit
Don't look now, but the Mets are pitching well and creeping towards the .500 mark -- and are currently only five games out of the NL Wild Card.
Craig was actually pretty happy this morning after the Mets took 2 of 3 from the Braves and got a couple of solid pitching performances courtesy of Dillon Gee, who, with the win on Saturday, improved his record to 6-0 and R.A. Dickey, who pitched 8 strong innings yesterday in the Mets' 6-4 victory.
Boomer has been a positive Mets fan all season long and he is really not shocked that they remain relevant at this point of the season.
The Yankees have won 6 of 7 thanks to yesterday's 5-3 win over the Angels -- and word is Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz have split up. This is big news as far as Craig is concerned and he speculated at length what could have possibly led to the breakup.
Finally, Boomer & Craig discussed the news that Craigie broke on Friday during Joe & Evan's show. Of course we're talking about Donnie Walsh not returning as Knicks president of basketball operations...
