B&C Morning Show: Rex's Honesty, Big Blue Consistency And The Bombers Bounce Back
After a long weekend, Boomer and Craig were back at it in the Allstate Studio just after 6 a.m., getting the party started by talking about some football as both the Jets and the Giants began the preseason portion of their schedules.
The guys reacted to Rex Ryan's short attention span, as the Jets head coach admitted to missing a few key plays from Friday night's 26-17 loss to the Lions.
Conversely, Tom Coughlin, Eli Manning and the Giants went about their business without any incident to speak of Saturday night in Pittsburgh, which really comes as no surprise. Boomer is expecting big things from Eli in 2013.
Then we have the Yankees, who limped into their weekend series with the big bad Detroit Tigers and managed to take two of three, despite Mariano Rivera blowing a couple of saves, three straight save chances overall. So there's that and some more rumors circulating from the circus that is A-Rod, who went deep in the Bronx off of Justin Verlander yesterday in the Bronx...
So a lot to get to and a Dynamic Radio Duo with the perfect forum to do so...
