B&C Morning Show: Peyton Manning Will NOT Be A Jet, According To Craig
Colts owner Jim Irsay and Peyton Manning will hold a press conference later today in Indianapolis, likely to announce that the team will release the future Hall of Fame quarterback rather than pay him the $28 million bonus he would be due this Thursday.
If that is indeed the case -- and assuming Manning doesn't announce his retirement -- it could be the beginning of a free-agent frenzy like none we've ever seen. But for those of you hoping the Jets would throw their hat in the ring, prepare to be disappointed.
According to Craig, there is no way that the Jets will sign Peyton, they won't even make Eli's older brother an offer. Craig went on list a whole host of reasons why, beginning with money and ending with Mark Sanchez.
As for the Knicks, they fell behind big, mounted a comeback only to eventually lose 95-85 to the Mavericks in Big D. Carmelo shot just 2-12, but according to Craig if you're looking to place blame, one needs to look no further than their head coach Mike D'Antoni...
So with Boomer out likely doing something 'boughie,' Craig was flyin' solo and holdin' it down...
