B&C Morning Show: Opening Things Up With A Bang!
Boomer and Craig began this Monday edition of the Morning Extravaganza by talking about the Yankees, as they continue to 'tread water' as the Booms put it. The Yanks downed the Mariners 6-2 at the Stadium Sunday afternoon and will now open up a seven game road trip in Detroit. Despite their recent 'struggles' the Bombers still hold 6.5 game lead over the Orioles atop the AL East.
From the Olympics, Usain Bolt is once again the fastest man in the world after capturing Gold in the 100m with a ridiculous time of 9.63 seconds. Reports circulating that say NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is willing to reduce Jonathan Vilma's season long suspension to eight games if the Saints linebacker will agree to drop his defamation suit.
All of that and Boomer suggests that perhaps the Jets would be best suited to rid themselves of the circus like atmosphere that surrounds them and cut Tim Tebow right now!!! Meanwhile Craig was advocating for the Jets to keep 'the circus' in-tact by going-ahead and bringing back Plaxico Burress, as well as adding Terrell Owens to the mix.
Like I said, 'starting things out with a Bang!!!!'
