B&C Morning Show: Misery Loves Company

Both the Knicks and Rangers have brought great shame to New York after losing their respective playoff games last night.

The Knicks' loss was a bit more damning as they fell to the Heat 106-94, thus ending their roller-coaster season in a rather disappointing fashion.  As for the Rangers, they still get to play on after losing Game 6 to the Capitals 2-1 in Washington, setting up a Game 7 Saturday night at the Garden.

Boomer summed things up by saying, TGFTM (Thank God For The Mets), as he was quite distraught after his beloved Blueshirts spit the bit last night against the Caps.  Bougie Boomer didn't make it to Washington for the game, instead was forced to watch the it on NBC Sports Network -- which didn't offer a pleasurable viewing experience for the Blonde Bomber.

As for the Knicks game, the little that Boomer saw he described as unwatchable. Craig couldn't be get too upset, considering he never really thought the Knickerbockers had a chance against LeBron and the 'Heatles' and takes solace in the fact that they won one game.

When it came time to talk about baseball, the Mets and the Yankees both provided goo talking points as the Mets completed a sweep of the Phillies winning their 5th straight game and David Robertson blew it for the Bombers, leaving teammates and fans alike pining for Mariano...
