B&C Morning Show: Mets' Struggles, A-Rod's Stupidity
Jerry "Rello" Recco was on his game this morning and provided a very thorough update on his first try.
He began with a recap of the Mets' comical loss last night against the Pirates and we heard from an angry Terry Collins, who seems to be at a loss these days as the woes continue both on and off the field. Boomer & Craig decided to break down the salaries of the infield the Mets put on the field last night -- and combined the total failed to eclipse $3 million. We also got to listen to some post game audio from Willie Harris, Justin Turner, Jason Bay and tough luck loser Chris Capuano.
The Yankees completed a 3-game sweep of the A's in Oakland last night and Nick Swisher was in the middle of the 4-2 victory, A.J. Burnett's 6th win of the year. Alex Rodriguez collected two hits, knocked in a run and made the back page of the the NY Daily News because his cousin Yuri Surcart (A-Rod's "drug mule") is back in the picture.
NHL Finals Game 1 goes to the Vancouver Canucks, as they beat the Bruins 1-0 when Raffi Torres lights the lamp (hockey term) with just 18.5 ticks left on the clock...
