B&C Morning Show: Melo Keeps Rolling With Some Help From His Friends

To open up today's edition of this thing we've come to know as 'The Morning Extravaganza,' Craig ran down a list of the Knicks' all-time greats, from Patrick Ewing to Walt 'Clyde' Frazier.

He then said that  'Melo has a chance to be the best' - referring of course to Carmelo Anthony, who put-up 35 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists last night in the Knicks' 118-110 win over the Celtics.

With the victory the Knicks improved to 10-1 at home under head coach Mike Woodson (14-5 overall), and during that stretch 'Me-Low' has been playing out of his mind.

After Craig said good morning to his radio partner, it became clear right away that Boomer was in a bit of a foul mood, as he hijacked the open to further complain about the morning show staff not coming through with an authentic 'Fudgy the Whale' from Carvel for his 51st Birthday - which was yesterday.

Eventually Boomer got around to talking about Carmelo, rather praising the 'Melo-Man' for his play of late - admitting he is starting to believe a little bit, but he is not ready to put him in the pantheon of Knicks greats just yet.

Craig countered Boomer by saying we are seeing 'greatness' and predicted that it's only gonna get better.

Then Boomer went back to being upset about not feeling loved by the staff and mentioned some of the 'classy' people who did right by him, on his day of birth...
