B&C Morning Show: Madonna Meets The Media, Craig's Bad Shave, Knicks Lose Again
Jerry "Rello" Recco gave us his first update of the morning, and started it off in unique fashion...
With the Super Bowl just a few days away, you might think the first person we'd hear from would be maybe Tom Coughlin or Bill Belichick, but instead we heard from pop music legend Madonna. She will of course be performing at the halftime show of the Super Bowl, so she got her chance to answer dumb questions from the media yesterday just as the two teams have all week.
After demanding that no one ask stupid questions from the outset, the first one she got was from a reporter curious about whether or not Alex Rodriguez has a painting of himself depicted as a centaur in his house. So much for no dumb questions I guess...
After that Jerry gave us some audio from people who will actually have an impact on the football game. Tom Coughlin hasn't heard anything out of his players that he would constitute as "bulletin board material." I guess Chris Canty's promise of parades and Jason Pierre-Paul's "Tom Brady isn't God" comment doesn't qualify. And Brandon Jacobs just hates talking to the media altogether.
The Knicks lost for the 10th time in 12 games, and Craig is once again baffled by Mike D'Antoni's decision-making late in games. Like how could Amar'e Stoudemire be taking the game-tying 3-pointer when Carmelo Anthony is on the floor?
Also, Craig got one of the worst shaves of his life in an Indianapolis. He tells you all about that and much more...
