B&C Morning Show: Knicks And Rangers Both Win, Jerry Tells Us More

After a night like last night, when the Knicks and the Rangers both win in thrilling fashion, Jerry Recco's job becomes pretty self-explanatory: provide the story behind the triumphs.

What makes Jerry stand out among others in his field is his charm and his wit, which just happens to be unparalleled in the industry.

With that said, Jerry got things underway by highlighting the Knicks' 90-87, come-from-behind win over the Toronto Raptors. We heard from Mike D'Antoni and got a pretty good idea of just how hot Jeremy Lin has been.  Lin himself recalled asking for and receiving the ball with the game on the line and also talked about what a great win it was.

Amar'e Stoudemire made his return to the Knicks lineup, contributed 21 points and 9 rebounds and afterward said this Lin stuff is just nuts.  With the win the Knicks improved to 14-15 and will look to get to the .500 mark tonight at the Garden when they welcome in the Sacramento Kings.

The Rangers continued their dominance over the eastern conference last night when they went to Boston and shutout the Bruins 3-0, behind Hendrik Lundqvist's 42 saves.  Ryan Callahan scored his 6th goal in 4 games and afterwards said it was a good win considering how poorly they played, while John Tortorella described Lundqvist's performance as 'absolutely fantastic.'  Blueshirts have won 4 in-a-row.

Plus, Devils lose 4-1 to the Buffalo Sabres, Islanders over the Winnipeg Jets 3-1, Sandy Alderson on his humorous tweets & the health of his team and Colts owner Jim Irsay says they may want Eli's big brother Peyton to return to Indy after all...
