B&C Morning Show: Jim Nantz Says 'Hello Friends' In The Allstate Studio
There has been great anticipation leading up to Jim Nantz's visit this morning.
Of course, the anticipation surrounded a sit-down with his old pal Craig Carton to talk out their differences. As it turns out, Nantz ended up sitting in Craigie's seat (pictured) because the morning show co-host was not here today.
Despite getting the news that his buddy Craigie would not be in, to his credit, Nantz still agreed to make the trip to Manhattan to sit down with Boomer in the Allstate Studio -- and he came bearing gifts for both members of the Dynamic Duo. You can check out Boomer below, embracing the picture Mr. Nantz presented him with (not to worry, he brought one for Craig as well).
Nantz admitted being a big fan of the show and expressed genuine concern for Craig's well-being, noting it is likely he gets hemorrhoids on a regular basis. He also seemed genuine when talking about how Craig's mocking really doesn't bother him. Nantz didn't miss a beat when Boomer informed him - the legendary sportscaster - that it is because of this show that he is remains relevant.
We heard all about Nantz's relationships with Tiger Woods and Phil Simms. As for Tiger, Nantz believes he is on his way back up to the top of the golf world. Simms on the other hand, he never left his high perch and remains one of the best analysts in the business -- and Nantz loves working with him. He also informed Boomer that although it may not seem so, Simms does have a tremendous amount of respect the Booms.
Before taking a break, Boomer & Nantz discussed the Tim Tebow 'experiment' down in Denver and the perception of the second-year QB around the league...
